Communication difficulties do not always disappear as children get older. Some young people continue to experience challenges with language, social communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and learning throughout secondary school and beyond.
We support teenagers and young people who may be:
Struggling to express themselves clearly
Finding it difficult to understand complex language in class
Experiencing anxiety around speaking or presentations
Avoiding school or becoming emotionally overwhelmed
Struggling socially or finding friendships difficult
Finding conversations hard to follow
Having difficulty putting thoughts into words
Experiencing low confidence or frustration linked to communication difficulties
Undergoing assessment or support for autism or other neurodevelopmental differences
Difficulties with communication can impact academic progress, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and independence. Early support and understanding can make a significant difference.
We work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide practical, supportive, and individualised intervention for each young person.
